E3S

The Sustainable City

E3S is a research and demonstration program co-funded and co-developed by the Eiffage Group and Gustave Eiffel University through the I-SITE FUTURE project, aimed at creating a more sustainable city. GRETTIA is participating in this project by providing simulation models of the future neighborhood as well as micromobility travel models.

Railenium

Railway Dynamics

Railway dynamics involves specific aspects, starting with the controlled system of the rigid biconical axle; forces and displacement sensors are detected via wheel-rail contacts, which are actually more complex in shape than a simple biconical configuration. The models developed by GRETTIA as part of the Railenium project make few compromises regarding nonlinearities while setting ambitious goals for real-time simulation.

MOBITIC

Mobility Indicators

Through a collaboration between the research sector (Gustave Eiffel University), the private sector (Orange), and the public sector (INSEE), MobiTIC aims to produce representative and frequently updated indicators of people’s presence and mobility by combining digital and traditional survey data.

IVA

Enhanced Passenger Information

The IVA project aims to optimize passenger travel across the entire multimodal transportation network in the Île-de-France region. More specifically, we provide analysis, modeling, and visualization tools that combine the perspectives of both users and regulators to improve real-time information for public transportation.

Téléo

Téléo - Smart Water Meters

The development of smart water and electricity distribution networks offers new opportunities for more efficient resource management. The goal is to optimize the availability and reliability of these resources, while improving the economic performance of the distribution networks.

ACYCOSUR

Cyclist Behavior

This project aims to help cyclists adopt safe behavior in urban areas. The goal is to identify gaps in cyclists’ knowledge of appropriate behavior in specific situations based on their urban cycling habits, and then to assess their understanding of educational materials as well as the impact of those materials on their cycling behavior.

ForBac

Predicting the impact of changes in mobility on environmental and socio-economic objectives

The FORBAC project is a targeted initiative within the PEPR Mobidec program. It aims to predict the impact of changes in mobility on environmental and socio-economic objectives, and to develop decision-support tools for designing optimal systems. We will develop a model to analyze the causal chains resulting from policies, technologies, and lifestyle changes, by identifying key variables and their interconnections. A retrospective approach will help determine the best combinations of policies and technologies to achieve the set objectives.

City-FAB

Supporting local communities in their transition toward sustainability

City-FAB, the winning project of France 2030’s “ExcellencES” call for proposals, supports local communities near the campuses of Gustave Eiffel University in their transition toward sustainability through action research and tailored training programs. In Dunkirk, we support the Urban Community in its transition strategy through tailored initiatives involving researchers, elected officials, technical staff, and citizens to address social, environmental, and digital sustainability challenges.
